“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” - 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

We’ve all heard the phrase “actions speak louder than words”. It’s not anything the world came up with; it’s biblical. Many times we say we love someone or something based on how we feel at that moment. We are humans with emotions so we know our feelings go up and down. While saying you love someone or something is fine, God wants us to show love through our actions with true and pure hearts. God loves us no matter how many times we disappoint him. We know God loves us because he gave us Jesus Christ, who died for our sins...THE GREATEST ACT OF LOVE!

On your journey, I encourage you to intentionally show love to everyone you meet. Even when you think it may be difficult, it’s not. Yes, you will be tested; just ask God to help and guide you through the Holy Spirit. Actions of love from a place of truth creates peace and hope in your life; which is what God desires for us all.

Be blessed.
