"4. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud, 5. or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged. 6. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." -1 Corinthians 13 : 4-7 (NLT)
As operators of the flesh, we often show love in all sorts of ways that we have learned through actions of our parents, peers, and even media outlets. But take the time and ask yourself is this the same love that Jesus has taught us? Am I really loving others as Christ love the church? I challenge us this week as the body of Christ to take heed that Gods love is truly kind, remembering how patient He was with you when you may not have deserved it. Focus on how Gods love loved you enough when you couldn’t love yourself. Embark on a journey to love God, yourself and others in the fullness and watch how love will immensely permeate your soul and extend in every aspect of your life. God's love is everlasting. Dwell in that. Be blessed this week and always.
