“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” -Psalm 91:15 (NIV)

Just this verse alone is enough to shout...HALLELUJAH! We all have experienced times when we prayed to God, in Jesus’ name, and things happened. We pray to Him for protection, discernment and our own desires. Sometimes God will show us things or speak to us, in the Spirit, that our fleshly nature can’t handle or don’t want to accept. For example, you pray for a particular job or relationship and you don’t get what you pray for; naturally, you begin to think God didn’t hear your prayers. You become weary and begin to “feel some type of way” because you don’t understand why God didn’t honor your prayer request. The unanswered prayer could be God’s way of protecting you from someone or something that will cause you harm spiritually and physically; you will eventually see the blessings in it.

I encourage you, again, as I encourage myself, to yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and God’s perfect will for you. You may think God is not with you. He is right there with you through EVERYTHING! He’s protecting you from the darkness of the world. We know the Father answers our prayers because the enemy doesn’t consume us. Stay focused on God, His son Jesus, and His word. He will bless you with more than you can ever think to ask of Him.

Have a blessed life!
