Word Wednesday

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”

-2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

Many times Christians are seen as “pushovers” because we don’t respond to situations as the others think we should. They have it all wrong! It takes great strength in God and self-control to walk out trials when the enemy is trying to get you to do opposite of what is right. The enemy will tempt you in any way possible to try to get you off course. I encourage you to exercise your God given power to stay focused on Him, as you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. While you are in your trials, you must continue to show love. This love walk requires a great deal of self-control; it’s may not be easy but it is the right thing to do. When you find yourself wavering, think of God’s love for you and His desire for you to walk in righteousness. With God, you are victorious so walk it out with Him! STAY THE COURSE!

Have a blessed day!
