"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." -2 Corinthians 5:17
On most food items (batteries, beauty products, etc.,) have an expiration date. The date is usually stamped in front of the package and typed in a standard font so that it can be easily seen and read. It is also stamped to inform the consumer when the item/product is old and no longer good for use. With this information, the consumer is expected to get rid of the product and buy a new and fresh one, with the assurance the product is safer and better for them.
Well, we should consider the same when it comes to walking in the newness of Christ. The behavior, attitude, character you once had in the world is old and has expired. It's time to get rid of it and walk in the new place Christ has given you through accepting Him and being obedient. You can do it! Leave all the other stuff behind and come to the new place in Christ!
