Fresh Fire Friday
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” -Philippians 4:6-8 (NKJV)
The Bible tells us not to worry about anything, but to trust God instead, and to pray about everything. Prayer is a form of communication with God. God hears our requests, concerns, and thankfulness through our prayers. As you pray, pray as if your prayer has already been answered; speak it into existence, decree and declare your blessings; that there is called faith. Faith is so vital in our walk with God. When you do this you will find that your heart will be filled with a peace that can’t be disturbed or shaken by any man, circumstance, or trial! This peace will keep you level headed and calm through the challenges and trials of life, and you will be able to be at rest. While you rest I encourage you to meditate on all the good things, the blessings, the victories, the breakthroughs, and the turnarounds in your life. Praise Him for them and let a shout out to the heavens thanking Him!
