Word Wednesday
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord". Acts 3:19 (NIV)
Many of us are living our lives just as we please, not realizing we are well outside of the will of God. We’ve tainted our God given gifts, that was intended to serve the kingdom, to serve the pleasures of this sinful world. This will only lead to destruction as distractions come through many vices to get us of course from God’s purpose for our lives. The good news is that we don’t have to stay in this messed up state! I encourage you to exercise your God given strength and knowledge of who He is to break through the bondage of this world. Sincerely repent of your sins, acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and surrender to God’s plan for your life. It’s also important to forgive others and yourself in this process. Even in this, temptations and distractions will come, however, you must will yourself to stay in God’s will for you. Truly seek our Heavenly Father and His word and you will be amazed by his goodness!
Rebuke the enemy, in the name of Jesus, and he MUST flee. Live in peace!
